About me

Hello and welcome!

My name is Nejc Trošt, and I’m a seasoned landscape architect transitioning my expertise into game design. With a solid foundation in crafting outdoor spaces, proficiency in CAD tools, and a lifelong passion for gaming, I’ve seamlessly integrated my architectural background into my games. I am also an intrepid storyteller focused on engaging narratives, dynamic dialogues, and relatable characters with complex personalities.

I have dedicated myself to familiarizing myself with software tools such as Blender, Unreal Engine, and Twine. Additionally, my curiosity pushes me to expand my knowledge along the way.

My main focus is building rich, immersive worlds, a natural extension of my skills and passion for creative storytelling.

My first interaction with creative storytelling and narrative design was through tabletop RPGs. As a game master, I opted to lead my players on home-brew adventures set in my own worlds. I quickly found a strong passion for writing stories, creating plot twists, and breathing life into characters of my own making.

It wasn’t long before I started incorporating my professional skills to create more detailed and immersive worlds, often taking the scope of my world further than it needed to be. This led me to discover the limitless potential I see in game design. It also taught me how to identify problems and gain certain knowledge that the project at hand requires. I try to think outside the box, and I love to challenge myself in my writing to expand my skill set and, at the same time, offer my players an interesting, dynamic story that has them sitting on the edge of their seats.
