Fredericksburg

Capital of the kingdom of Vaelun and the seat of King Frederick the third. Fredericksburg is built in a natural bay on the delta of the great river Mirr. The castle sits atop a small hill in the center of the city.

The urban design stems from an expanding town that had overgrown its protective walls and spreads organically similar to medieval European cities. The land south of the old wall has in parts been reclaimed from the bay, and the new harbor banks built up of stone.
